Ich bin in Karasjok und es beginnt ein ganz besonderer Tag.<br><br>Mein winziges Zimmer verlasse ich gegen 10 Uhr.<br>Es ist recht angenehm. Ein paar Wolken und 14 Grad. Nachdem gestern nichts auf der Bank zu holen war, besorge ich mir erst einmal ein paar norwegische Kronen und mit diesen etwas Futter. Kurz darauf beginne ich meine Fahrt entlang des Tana-Flusses. Stromabw\u00e4rts geht es zwischen sanften H\u00fcgeln nach Norden. Die Landschaft wirkt auf mich surreal. Der dichte Baumbewuchs und die vielen Schleifen des Flusses erinnern mich stark ans heimische Neckartal. Diese Landschaft halte ich w\u00e4hrend einiger Fotostopps fest. Auch an ein paar Stromschnellen pausiere ich.<br>Gegen eins ist das Dorf zum Fluss erreicht. In Tana bru f\u00fclle ich den Tank f\u00fcr einen unversch\u00e4mt hohen Preis auf \u2013 14,49 NOK der Liter. Ich tanke nur so viel, dass es bis Storlien reicht.<br>Nach einer Br\u00fccken\u00fcberquerung geht es am \u00f6stlichen Ufer auf einer kleinen Stra\u00dfe weiter nordw\u00e4rts \u2013 den 70. Breitengrad habe ich schon vor Tana bru \u00fcberquert.<br><br>Ich bin auf der Varanger-Halbinsel angekommen. Neben mir erstreckt sich mittlerweile das riesige Delta des Flusses und gibt in der Ferne den Blick auf den Tanafjord frei. Binnen kurzer Zeit wandelt sich die Flora. Die recht gro\u00dfen gr\u00fcnen B\u00e4ume weichen kleinen verkr\u00fcppelten Birken. Diese s\u00e4umen auch einen schnurgeraden, fast 2 Kilometer langen, Stra\u00dfenabschnitt. An diesem entdecke ich links von mir eine kleine Kirche, an der ich allerdings nicht halte. Ich bin allein auf weiter Flur. Gegen\u00fcber des \u00bbgro\u00dfen\u00ab Verkehrsaufkommens auf der E6, ein paar Stunden zuvor, ist das hier die reinste Entspannung. Am Fjord angekommen macht die Stra\u00dfe einen abrupten Schlenker nach S\u00fcdosten, in ein gr\u00fcnes Tal zwischen hohen, kahlen, Bergen. Die Siedlung Austertana ist erreicht.<br>Dahinter weisen mich ein Schlagbaum und ein Schild auf das bevorstehende hin. Der nachfolgende Streckenabschnitt ist im Winter f\u00fcr den Individualverkehr gesperrt und wird in dieser Zeit nur kolonnenweise befahren. Es geht bergauf. Das kahle Kongsfjordfjell ist unter meinen R\u00e4dern. Die Tafel mit der Passh\u00f6he (326 Meter) muss ich ohne zu stoppen passieren. Kurz nach zwei halte ich auf einem gro\u00dfen Parkplatz und genie\u00dfe die wirklich frische Luft. Ein paar Wolken sorgen f\u00fcr sch\u00f6ne Lichtspiele auf nahe gelegenen Bergen. W\u00e4hrend der langen Pause entstehen einige sch\u00f6ne Aufnahmen. Kurz danach f\u00fchrt mich der Weg wieder bergab. Die Stra\u00dfe schl\u00e4ngelt entlang eines Flusses zur Barentssee. Ich passiere das Dorf Kongsfjord.<br>Es ist kurz vor drei Uhr. Bis zum Tagesziel sind es noch gut 30 Kilometer.<br><em>04\/10-2026: nicht 50, wie in der Ursprungsfassung und in meinem Tagesbericht geschrieben und danach dauerhaft \u2013 ungepr\u00fcft \u2013 \u00fcbernommen; nach nur 15 Jahren ist die Entfernung nun auf den richtigen Wert korrigiert \u2013 ja, die Strecke entlang der Varanger-Nordk\u00fcste kann einem schon viel l\u00e4nger vorkommen, als sie tats\u00e4chlich ist \u2013 vielleicht ist das auch ein Wunsch.<\/em><br>Diese f\u00fchren entlang der wilden Brandung des Nordmeeres und erinnern mich sehr stark an die Europastra\u00dfe zum Nordkapp. Es gibt aber einen riesigen Unterschied: Letztes Jahr bestritten viele Reisemobile den Weg ans n\u00f6rdlichste Ende des Kontinentes, heute bin ich fast allein. Die sehr gute Stra\u00dfe nimmt jede Bucht und jeden Fj\u00e4llr\u00fccken mit. Einen einzigen kleinen Tunnel \u2013 typisch norwegisch mit einer Kurve \u2013 passiere ich unterwegs. Diese Strecke gef\u00e4llt mir sehr gut.<br><br>Irgendwann tauchen ein paar H\u00e4user am Horizont auf \u2013 mein Tagesziel zeigt sich.<br>Halb vier ist es erreicht. Ich bin in Berlev\u00e5g.<br>Das Wetter ist umgeschlagen. Rau weht der Wind bei weniger als zehn Grad und Regen. Damit scheidet eine Nacht im Flatterzelt wohl aus. Stattdessen miete ich in dem zugeh\u00f6rigen Pensionat ein kleines Zimmer. 600 Kronen kostet mich der Spa\u00df. Aber ich habe ein festes Dach \u00fcber dem Kopf. Netterweise dient meine Unterkunft gleichzeitig als TB f\u00fcr den Ort. An der Wand entdecke ich eine Karte, auf der ein Aussichtspunkt in der N\u00e4he verzeichnet ist. Dazu befragt gibt mir der Quartierbesitzer einen kleinen Zettel mit, auf welchem zwei Wanderpfade eingezeichnet sind. Einer f\u00fchrt an der K\u00fcste entlang und ist mit acht Kilometern recht lang; der andere verl\u00e4uft \u00fcber&#8217;s kahle Fj\u00e4ll und ist bequemer und k\u00fcrzer. Au\u00dferdem bekomme ich den Tipp, die Stra\u00dfe zum kleinen Fj\u00e4llwanderparkplatz weiter bis zu deren Ende in Store Molvik zu fahren. Es w\u00fcrde sich lohnen!<br><br>Obwohl ich schon \u00fcber 300 Kilometer gefahren und recht fertig bin, beginne ich diesen zweiten Tagesabschnitt.<br>Ich passiere Berlev\u00e5g und fahre danach am \u00f6rtlichen Flugplatz vorbei. Jetzt beginnt endlich wieder Grusv\u00e4g; vielleicht 12km. Der Wanderparkplatz hat seine Bezeichnung nicht verdient und ist nur eine kleine Ausbuchtung an der Stra\u00dfe. Aber erstmal nach Molvik. Die Grusv\u00e4gstrecke bis dorthin ist eher von der schlechteren Sorte und so geht es nur langsam voran.<br><br>Es ist halb 5. Ich bin am Ende der Stra\u00dfe. Auf einem Schotterplatz halte ich.<br>Der Blick ist atemberaubend! Ich komme mir vor, als w\u00e4re ich am Ende der Welt. Deshalb wirken die einzelnen kleinen H\u00e4user am Meer irgendwie deplatziert. Mein Blick schweift \u00fcber den breiten Tanafjord, auf dem sich ein paar Sonnenstrahlen zeigen, nach Westen. Dort erstreckt sich die kahle raue K\u00fcste der Nordkyn-Halbinsel mit ihren vielen Fjorden und kleineren Buchten. W\u00fcsste ich es nicht besser, w\u00fcrde ich mich in Island oder Gr\u00f6nland w\u00e4hnen. Die subpolare Landschaft hat mich in ihren Bann gezogen. Ruhig packe ich meine Fotoausr\u00fcstung aus und beginne damit, meine Umgebung in Bilder umzusetzen. Die Hoffnung, dass die Aufnahmen etwas werden, ist gro\u00df. W\u00e4hrend einer guten halben Stunde entstehen nicht nur Einzelbilder, sondern auch ein paar Panoramen aus BKT&#8217;s.<br><br>Da ich unbedingt noch den Aussichtspunkt erreichen m\u00f6chte, r\u00e4ume ich meine Sachen zusammen und fahre die Grusv\u00e4gstrecke langsam wieder zur\u00fcck.<br>Einen letzten Blick auf H\u00e4user und Fjord erhasche ich w\u00e4hrend einer weiteren kurzen Pause. Mehrere Minuten sp\u00e4ter ist die Haltebucht am Wanderweg erreicht. Ich bin nicht allein. Neben mir stehen zwei Reisemobile aus dem Hamburger Raum. Rucksack richten, Schuhe tauschen, St\u00f6cke und Handschuhe mitnehmen und dann geht es kurz nach halb 6 los.<br><br>Es ist windig, auflandig aus Nord-Nordwest und mir mitten ins Gesicht blasend.<br>Trotz des einfachen Gel\u00e4ndes \u2013 Wiese und leicht bergauf \u2013 geht es nur langsam voran. Bin nach den \u00fcber 320km schon ziemlich fertig. Einige k\u00fcrzere Verschnaufpausen lege ich unterwegs ein. Der letzte Kilometer f\u00fchrt \u00fcber ein Ger\u00f6llfeld. Na toll! Kurz vor Schluss folgt dann noch ein kurzer knackiger Anstieg zum Aussichtspunkt, dem Tanahorn. Der Weg ist die ganze Zeit mit schwarzen und roten Stangen markiert, sodass ich mich nicht verlaufen kann. Oben angekommen, auf \u00fcber 250 H\u00f6henmetern, ist es immer noch windig. Au\u00dferdem geht es nach 3 Seiten steil bergab. Da ich nicht sonderlich schwindelfrei bin, lege ich nur einen kurzen Beweisfotostopp am Horn ein. Danach ziehe ich mich auf bequemeres Gel\u00e4nde, etwas unterhalb der Bergspitze, zur\u00fcck und mache vielleicht 20 Minuten Pause. Nahezu bedeckter Himmel. Nur \u00fcber dem Tanafjord und der Nordkyn-Halbinsel zeigen sich gelegentlich ein paar Sonnenstrahlen. Vor mir erstreckt sich eine nahezu kahle Hochfl\u00e4che mit ein paar gr\u00fcnen Einsprengseln. Im Hintergrund erheben sich ein paar wei\u00df gefleckte H\u00fcgel. Neben mir die steilen Abh\u00e4nge zur Barentssee. Auch hier oben wage ich mich an ein Panorama. Statt der D90 darf diesmal die Tizzy ran. Ich will, dass die Bilder etwas werden! Gegen sieben trete ich den R\u00fcckweg an. Der Wind kommt jetzt von hinten. So stiefele ich beschwingt und mit Dauergrinsen Richtung Auto. Obwohl ich meine normalen Handschuhe vergessen habe, sind meine Finger wohlig warm \u2013 ein paar zweckentfremdete Arbeitshandschuhe tun es auch! Noch \u00fcber eine kleine Holzbr\u00fccke, dann bin ich, nach gut 2 Stunden, wieder bei meinem treuen Reisebegleiter. Mit diesem rolle ich die letzten Kilometer zur\u00fcck zum Pensionat. Ich bin fertiger als fertig!<br><br>Jetzt beginnt das Hoffen und Bangen auf ein besonderes Erlebnis in diesen Breitengraden.<br>Der im Haus aush\u00e4ngende Wetterbericht f\u00fcr Berlev\u00e5g verspricht nichts Gutes daf\u00fcr. Ich setze mich an den Rechner und beginne die Bilder des Tages zu sichten. Die Store Molvik-Aufnahmen sind etwas geworden! Sehr sch\u00f6n!<br><br>Irgendwann gegen halb 11 werde ich von einem lauten Tuten aus meiner Arbeit gerissen.<br>Ein Schiff ist da!<br>Mit der Tizzy bewaffnet geht es zum Kai. Der Hurtigrutendampfer \u00bbPolarlys\u00ab hat im Hafen angelegt. Sehr sch\u00f6n. Ein Vorgeschmack auf die weitere Reise. Einige Leute sind dem Ger\u00e4usch gefolgt und schauen dem Spektakel zu. Wegen des kalten Windes h\u00e4lt es mich nur gut 10 Minuten drau\u00dfen. W\u00e4hrend dieser kurzen Zeit beobachte ich auch die Wolken. Sie scheinen sich etwas zu lichten. Mein Plan f\u00fcr die Nacht und das erhoffte Erlebnis scheint aufzugehen.<br>So erwarte ich im Zimmer gespannt die 12. Stunde. Da sich auf einem weiteren Aushang im Haus die genauen Zeiten daf\u00fcr finden, kann ich gut planen. Der Blick aus meinem, nach S\u00fcdost gelegenen, Zimmer erweist sich als sehr praktisch, da ich so sehen kann, ob die umliegenden H\u00e4user von der Sonne angestrahlt werden. Exakt um 00:08 Uhr soll sie am tiefsten stehen.<br><br>So gegen 23.45h ist es dann soweit. Mit der Kameratasche bepackt geht es nach drau\u00dfen. Es regnet leicht, aber zwischen den Wolken blinzeln ein paar Sonnenstrahlen hindurch. Mitternachtssonne! Der Wind sorgt f\u00fcr klamme Finger, der Regen f\u00fcr beschlagene und betropfte Gl\u00e4ser. Vor allem bei der Kitlinse wirkt sich das nachteilig aus. Aber egal! Das Licht ist sehr speziell und sch\u00f6n. Die Stimmung wieder sehr surreal. Mit meiner Sch\u00e4tz-Methode beginne ich die mittern\u00e4chtlichen Aufnahmen. Zwischen den recht dicken dunklen Wolken lugt ab und an die Sonne hervor und taucht Berlev\u00e5g in ein warmes Licht. \u00dcber dem gesamten Szenario fliegen ein paar M\u00f6wen umher. St\u00e4ndig die Gl\u00e4ser putzend, genie\u00dfe ich mein erstes Mitternachtssonnen-Erlebnis. Der leichte Regen hat auch seine Vorteile. Er l\u00e4sst im S\u00fcden einen wundersch\u00f6nen Regenbogen entstehen. Der Punkt auf dem \u00bbI\u00ab!<br><br>Nach fast einer Stunde schlendere ich zu meinem Zimmer zur\u00fcck. Ich bin gl\u00fccklich! Die M\u00fcdigkeit ist zwar da, wird aber von der Euphorie verdr\u00e4ngt. Am Rechner sichte ich noch die Bilder. Viele sind, trotz spezieller Fotomethode, geworden. Alles hat gepasst! Auch die widrigen Wetterumst\u00e4nde haben sich nicht besonders negativ ausgewirkt.<br><br>Langsam klingt der bisher intensivste Tag der gesamten Tour aus.<br>W\u00e4hrend ich entspannt einschlafe, genie\u00dfen meine Mitreisenden ihre letzte Nacht auf Mager\u00f8ya, nur gut 100 Kilometer Luftlinie nordwestlich von
