das Bild auf. Wanderer sind unterwegs. Willkommen im Hochgebirge und zu einer Gratwanderung.<br>Ich bin auf einer lang ersehnten Reise. Nach \u00fcber 10 Jahren zieht es mich wieder in die Alpen. Drei Tage zuvor fahre ich entspannt, und Autobahnen weitestgehend meidend, nach M\u00fcnchen um Freunde zu treffen. Es wird ein langer und nicht ganz n\u00fcchterner Abend.<br>Tags darauf entfliehe ich der zu gro\u00dfen Stadt und erkunde das s\u00fcdwestliche Umland. Vorbei am Starnberger See geht es zu den Bergen. Unterwegs bieten sich immer wieder sch\u00f6ne Fernblicke, die die Sehnsucht n\u00e4hren. Einen ersten l\u00e4ngeren Stopp mache ich in Schwangau an der St.-Coloman-Kapelle. Von der Ferne wirkt es eher klein; wird nahezu erdr\u00fcckt von den Bergen dahinter und ist gar nicht so majest\u00e4tisch wie auf vielen Bildern.<br>Ich fahre weiter, n\u00e4here mich langsam dem Touristen-Magneten. Und ziehe ob der brechend vollen Parkpl\u00e4tze bald weiter. Via F\u00fcssen erreiche ich kurz darauf den Lech und schwenke nach S\u00fcden, nach \u00d6sterreich. Der obligatorische Tankstopp in Reutte folgt und schon bald bin ich mitten in den Alpen. Endlich! Zeit ein paar Kurven zu r\u00e4ubern und H\u00f6he zu gewinnen \u2013 dabei das Tagesziel vor Augen behaltend. Also hinauf \u00fcber den Gaichtpass ins Tannheimer Tal. Ein bisschen Fj\u00e4llgef\u00fchl kommt auf bei der Einfahrt in dieses malerische Hochtal, umringt von stattlichen Gipfeln. Diese aber eher spitz und steil, statt von Gletschern gerundet. Die \u00d6sterreich-Episode endet alsbald und es geht wieder abw\u00e4rts nach Bad Hindelang und Sonthofen. Rauf auf die Touristen-Autobahn B19 nach Oberstdorf.<br>Dort habe ich einen Zeltplatz ausersehen, auf dem ich meinen Stoffburg aufschlage. Noch ein paar Besorgungen erledigen und ein bisschen die Gegend erkunden eher der Tag zu Ende geht. Ich sauge die Alpenluft in mich auf und genie\u00dfe. Noch h\u00e4lt sich der Sommer zur\u00fcck und es ist einigerma\u00dfen ertr\u00e4glich in meinem Zelt.<br><br>Zeit, die kommenden Tage zu planen. Der Samstag soll eher durchwachsen werden, der Sonntag sonnig. Also Samstag im Auto, Sonntag in der H\u00f6he.<br><br>Es ist ein grauer Morgen. Ich schnappe meine Sachen und fahre in die Ortsmitte. Von dort spaziere ich ein bisschen durch Oberstdorf. Erstaunlich wenig los in dem Kurort am Ende der Republik. Der Ort, der so oft in den Medien auftaucht, gerade in Zusammenhang mit Wintersport. Und die Anlage, auf der allj\u00e4hrlich die \u00bbVier-Schanzen-Tournee\u00ab startet wirkt etwas einsam und verloren. Doch das ist mir sehr recht, bin ich doch eher weniger ein Freund gro\u00dfer Menschenmassen. Ich schlendere noch ein bisschen durch den Ort und kehre alsbald zu meinem Fahrzeug zur\u00fcck. Ab ins Kleinwalsertal. Mal schauen, wie es in diesem besonderen Tal aussieht, das zwar zu \u00d6sterreich geh\u00f6rt, aber nur \u00fcber Deutschland zu erreichen ist.<br>Ziemlich dicht bebaut und voll auf Tourismus ausgelegt schmiegen sich die unz\u00e4hligen H\u00e4user an die H\u00e4nge der beiden Talw\u00e4nde. In Baad ist Schluss. Ab hier geht es nur noch zu Fu\u00df weiter. Bei leichtem Regen starte ich, kehre aber bald wieder um, da die Gratis-Dusche st\u00e4rker wird. Also gem\u00fctlich zur\u00fcck zum Zelt.<br><br>Was soll ich mit dem restlichen Tag anfangen? Naja, da ist noch ein weiterer Grund, warum ich gerade hierher gefahren bin. Ich will mich auf die Spuren des Saab-Treffens von 2003 begeben. Dieses beinhaltete auch eine Rundfahrt um den s\u00fcdlichsten Zipfel Deutschlands. Entgegen der damaligen Routenf\u00fchrung von Osten und im Uhrzeigersinn \u2013 \u00fcber Kempten\/F\u00fcssen\/Reutte \u2013 starte ich nach Westen und gegen den Uhrzeigersinn. \u00dcber Deutschlands h\u00f6chste befahrbare Pass-Stra\u00dfe, den Riedbergpass auf 1407 Metern, geht es nach nach Hittisau in Vorarlberg. Von dort noch weiter nach Westen, ehe ich gen S\u00fcden in ein enges Tal abbiege. Hier verabschiedet sich das GPS f\u00fcr eine Weile. Kurvig geht es bergan w\u00e4hrend es dauernieselt. Ich erreiche den Hochtannbergpass auf gut 1670 Metern H\u00f6he und mache Pause. Genau so hatte ich die Gegend abgespeichert \u2013 als weites, gr\u00fcnes Hochtal. Ich genie\u00dfe, bin fast allein.<br>Hinter Warth erreiche ich erneut den Lech, der hier als tosender Gebirgsbach bergab strebt.<br>Vom Lech ab befahre ich ein weiteres Mal den Gaichtpass und das Tannheimer Tal und komme bald darauf an meinem Zelt an. Ein langer Tag geht zu Ende.<br><br>Die Sonne weckt mich recht fr\u00fch, der Berg ruft! Das muss Mitte der 90er in S\u00fcdtirol gewesen sein. Damals stellte ich auf der Grawand auch meinen immer noch g\u00fcltigen, pers\u00f6nlichen, H\u00f6henrekord von gut 3.200 Metern auf.<br>Ist wirklich sehr ungewohnt in dem leicht schaukelnden Ding nach oben zu fahren. Um ganz rauf zu kommen muss ich in eine weitere Kabinenbahn umsteigen. Nach einer Weile bin ich oben und erklimme die letzten Meter zum Fellhorn. Bin dabei nicht allein. Es f\u00fchlt sich etwas merkw\u00fcrdig an, bin ich doch im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes Grenzg\u00e4nger. Links von mir ist \u00d6sterreich, rechts Deutschland. Der Grat markiert die Staatsgrenze zwischen beiden.<br>Mein Blick schweift \u00fcber gr\u00fcne Wiesen ins Kleinwalsertal und zu weiteren Alpengipfeln.
