Dazwischen die Regnitz, flankiert von 2 besonderen Holzbauten. Rumpeln\u2026<br>Ruhe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">F\u00fcr mich ist diese Gegend noch Neuland. Kaum ein halbes Jahr vorher besuche ich sie erstmals. Nun habe ich mir ausgiebiges Auskundschaften vorgenommen. Der zentrale Ort ist N\u00fcrnberg, was in mir gemischte Gef\u00fchle ausl\u00f6st. Eine Stadt voller Geschichte.<br><br>Zwei Tage vorher reise ich an und suche mir ein Quartier mitten in der Stadt. Geplant ist eine Reise in die j\u00fcngere deutsche Vergangenheit. N\u00fcrnberg \u2013 \u00bbStadt der Reichsparteitage\u00ab \u2013 Stadt des nationalsozialistischen Gr\u00f6\u00dfenwahns. Diesen m\u00f6chte ich erkunden. So steht der Freitag ganz im Zeichen vergangener Gro\u00dfmachttr\u00e4ume. Ich parke am Luitpoldhain und spaziere zu einem wuchtigen, mit hellem Garnit verblendetem, Bauwerk, das nur durch etwas Glas und Metall in seiner historischen Wirkm\u00e4chtigkeit aufgebrochen wird. Und doch erscheint es hinter B\u00e4umen kaum aufzufallen. Es ist die alte Kongresshalle. Mein erster Weg f\u00fchrt mich in den Innenraum. Er ist riesig und kahl. Ich f\u00fchle mich verloren darin \u2013 so klein und unbedeutend. Das wird noch durch die Fassade verst\u00e4rkt. Unmengen roter Ziegel bestimmen das Bild. Daraus ragen die \u00dcberreste der St\u00fctzkonstruktion f\u00fcr die geplanten Zuschauerr\u00e4nge und das Dach. Gr\u00f6\u00dfenwahn pur.<br>Nachdem ich die Au\u00dfenanlage auf mich wirken lassen habe, begebe ich mich ins Innere. Seit einiger Zeit findet sich im Nordwestfl\u00fcgel das \u00bbDokumentationszentrum Reichsparteitagsgel\u00e4nde\u00ab. Ich werde von Informationen f\u00f6rmlich erschlagen und schaffe es nur schwer, das alles zu begreifen \u2013 zu begreifen wie wahnsinnig die Machthaber in den 1930er Jahren waren; wie sehr sie das Individuum der Masse unterordnen wollten und wie sehr sie ihre Macht in Stein und Beton manifestieren wollten.<br>In dem erdr\u00fcckenden und dunklen Wirrwar f\u00fchrt ein lichter Steg zu einer Aussichtsplattform, die den Blick auf den Innenraum freigibt. Das gestaltet sich schwieriger als gedacht, beginnt doch in wenigen Tagen das Musikfestival \u00bbRock im Park\u00ab. So ist die riesige Aufmarschmeile \u00bbGro\u00dfe Stra\u00dfe\u00ab in Teilen gesperrt. Die Ausma\u00dfe erschlie\u00dfen sich so kaum. Ich spaziere am Dutzendteich entlang, der von vielen Zeltd\u00f6rfern flankiert ist. W\u00e4hrend ich n\u00e4herkomme t\u00f6nen in meinen Ohren die Hetztiraden, die von diesem Platz herausgeschrien wurden. Ich erklimme die Stufen. Stehe bald selbst auf dem Podest. Und ich f\u00fchle mich f\u00fcr einen Moment erhaben und doch elend. \u00dcberblicke das Zeppelinfeld; halte einen Moment inne. Bilder schwirren vor meinem inneren Auge umher, dazu ein Stimmengewirr. Und doch bin ich fast allein hier.<br><br>Ich ziehe weiter; vollende die Runde um den Dutzendteich. Es wird wieder belebter. Sonnenhungrige und Festivalbesucher f\u00fcllen die Wiesen.
