Juli 2011. Ich stehe an der Stra\u00dfe \u2013 dem Austertanaveien \u2013 und warte. Vielleicht kommt ja bald mal ein Bus, der mich irgendwohinbringt. Vielleicht nach Tana bru, oder doch eher nach Berlev\u00e5g? Ich werde warten m\u00fcssen, da hier oben im Niemandsland kaum etwas f\u00e4hrt. Nutze stattdessen die Zeit, um mich umzuschauen und den Moment zu genie\u00dfen \u2013 hier oben, am Ende Europas; hier oben, auf der subpolaren, norwegischen, Varangerhalbinsel; hier oben, an der M\u00fcndung des Tana in den Tanafjord und die Barentssee. Auf gut 70 Grad Nord \u2013 n\u00e4her am Nordpol, als am heimischen Heidelberg.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ich bin auf der Reise von Berlev\u00e5g nach Kirkenes und habe bereits 100 Kilometer hinter mich gebracht. Diese Stra\u00dfe sehe ich dabei zum zweiten Mal. Ist sie doch die einzige befahrbare Strecke in das Fischerdorf an der Nordk\u00fcste von Varanger. Kaum 24 Stunden vorher war ich erstmals hier gewesen. Dabei imponierte mir diese schnurgerade, 4 Kilometer lange, Strecke. Eine Stra\u00dfe ganz f\u00fcr mich allein, an diesem sommerlichen Tag. In meinen Aufzeichnungen von damals schreibe ich:<br>\u00bb<em>W\u00e4hrend des 20-min\u00fctigen Stopps passieren mich f\u00fcnf Autos.\u00ab<br><\/em>Tags zuvor auf der Hinfahrt notiere ich folgendes:<br><em>\u00bbNach einer Br\u00fccken\u00fcberquerung geht es am \u00f6stlichen Ufer auf einer kleinen Stra\u00dfe weiter nordw\u00e4rts. Ich bin auf der Varanger-Halbinsel angekommen. Neben mir erstreckt sich mittlerweile das riesige Delta des Flusses und gibt in der Ferne den Blick auf den Tanafjord frei. Binnen kurzer Zeit wandelt sich die Flora. Die recht gro\u00dfen gr\u00fcnen B\u00e4ume weichen kleinen verkr\u00fcppelten Birken. Diese s\u00e4umen auch einen schnurgeraden, fast 2 Kilometer langen Stra\u00dfenabschnitt. An diesem entdecke ich links von mir eine kleine Kirche, an der ich allerdings nicht halte. Ich bin allein auf weiter Flur.\u00ab<br><br><\/em>Diese Worte fassen das Bild der Landschaft sehr gut zusammen. Ich m\u00f6chte Euch noch drei weitere Bilder dieses Ortes zeigen. Das hat folgenden Grund: Es ist vom Aufbau her sehr nahe am Januar mit dem markanten Fluchtpunkt. Ich m\u00f6chte in diesem Kalender auch ungew\u00f6hnliche Perspektiven bieten, weshalb ich mich schlie\u00dflich anders entschied. Gute 10 Minuten sp\u00e4ter erreiche ich einen kleinen Parkplatz am Fluss und schaue auf die Sandb\u00e4nke. Die n\u00e4chste befindet sich erst 70 Kilometer flussaufw\u00e4rts beim finnischen Ort Utsjoki. Ich blicke erneut \u00fcber den Fluss. Das Ganze ist leider etwas verungl\u00fcckt und wirkt sehr grell.
