Es ist grau, es ist kalt. Aber irgendwie will die Sonne doch zeigen, dass es sie noch gibt. Nach dem <a href=\"https:\/\/snustux.de\/baustelle\/januar2015-neckarhochwasser\/\">Hochwasser vor ein paar Tagen<\/a> lugt unser Stern mal f\u00fcr ein paar Stunden hervor. Diese Zeit nutze ich f\u00fcr einen kleinen Ausflug \u00fcber den Rhein in die pf\u00e4lzische Festungsstadt Germersheim.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">F\u00fcr die Reise nutze ich mein Jobticket mal so richtig aus und fahre um kurz nach 9 mit der S3 in Heidelberg ab. Bei der Einfahrt in den Mannheimer Hauptbahnhof gesellt sich der ICE 202 (Basel-Dortmund) dazu, was ich ich in einem kurzen Videoschnipsel festhalte.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video\"><video height=\"1080\" style=\"aspect-ratio: 1920 \/ 1080;\" width=\"1920\" controls src=\"https:\/\/snustux.de\/baustelle\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/20180109_Germersheim_Blog\/001_VID_20180109_092733914_HDR.mp4\"><\/video><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Im Mannheimer Hauptbahnhof leert sich der Zug recht stark und verliert seine hintere H\u00e4lfte. Nach Ludwigshafen, Schifferstadt und Speyer wird es immer einsamer. Es geht durch die pf\u00e4lzische Pampa gen S\u00fcden. In Germersheim angekommen steigen kaum noch Menschen aus der Bahn aus. Es ist kurz nach 10 Uhr, ich bin da. Es ist immer noch grau, aber die Wolken lichten sich langsam. Der manuelle AF macht es nicht gerade einfach. Die Kamera stelle ich in den Q(uiet)-Modus, damit es nicht so klackert und wechsele auf die Zeitvorwahl. Mit 1\/30 und bald 1\/60 Sekunde komme ich ganz gut hin. Durch die vielen B\u00e4ume und das Dickicht ist es doch eher d\u00fcster \u2013 trotz Sonne. Ich entdecke ein Jungtier, das sich recht gut zwischen Zweigen und Bl\u00e4ttern versteckt. Sp\u00e4ter, nachdem ich etwas entfernt habe, traut es sich an ein paar herumliegende Mandarinen. Das Elterntier kommt hinzu. Irgendwie entdecken mich die beiden doch und fl\u00fcchten. Der Ausschuss vom Tamron-Tele ist leider recht gro\u00df, vor allem bei den Vogelbildern. Es hat sich trotzdem gelohnt das lange Glas mitzunehmen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">W\u00e4hrend einer l\u00e4ngeren Pause an der Fronte Lamotte genie\u00dfe ich die letzten Sonnenstrahlen. Die Wolken kehren zur\u00fcck und es wird grau, weshalb ich meist mit dem Telefon fotografiere und die D300s in der Tasche bleibt.<br>Also setze meinen Spaziergang fort und erkunde die Stadt ein bisschen. Entlang der riesigen Seyssel-Kaserne gehe ich zur Fronte Beckers und auf selbige. Sp\u00e4ter, nach einer kleinen Kakao-Pause, zum Ludwigstor im Norden der Stadt. Dort befindet sich das, leider geschlossene, Festungs- und Stadtmuseum von Germersheim und der Grundstein der In Sichtweite des Ludwigstores entdecke ich eine sch\u00f6ne Fassadenbemalung.<br>Weniger sch\u00f6n sieht hingegen der Alte Bahnhof von Germersheim aus. Das Empfangsgeb\u00e4ude aus den 1860-er Jahren ist zwar noch bewohnt und bewirtschaftet (nicht von der Bahn), verf\u00e4llt aber trotzdem. Die Sonnenstrahlen habe ich lang ersehnt und genossen. Germersheim ist eine hutzelige kleine Stadt, umgeben von Resten dicker Mauern und Bastionen. W\u00e4hrend meiner gut vier Stunden wirkte die Stadt oft wie ausgestorben.
